A New Love!!!!! CREATA!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx

Hi folks! sorry i havent been around much lately, but as im sure you are aware, my time as a design team member for Kanban is now over. I will be, of course, continuing my papercrafting adventures and posting pictures of my makes for you to view, and if you wish, comment upon.
Again, sorry for the delay and i shall be back with you shortly with some more pictures and waffle!! Until then, check out my new love, which is CREATA products! you may have seen a beautiful lady called Carley Duff showcasing the creata products on create and craft! These products are exactly my kind of style. which for me is great news as i have never been able to find items to my exact taste as i am probably considered a little out of the ordinary!! plus, there is a very talented design team that makes the most amazing cards showing off these products beautifully! Check them out at the nec or on create and craft! you can also join the group on facebook!
hopefully i shall see you all there!!
lots of love and cuddles,

Vintage Dale!!!!! xxxxx

Watchya folks, Its that time again! Time to share my Kanban design team work with you. I hope you like them. I was in quite a whacky mood one day, so one of my cards is a little out there, so i think it will be abit
of a marmite card. You'll either love it or hate!!
Anywho, whilst Im here, i just wanted to mention that the fantastic Kanban have a fantastic group on facebook called "we love kanban". It is such a friendly group and theres so much inspiration to be had there!! The group is now setting up a monthly challenge where you will have the chance to win some Kanban goodies. so well worth getting your crafty juices flowing! Also, the group is now offering a "swap shop", where you can swap kanban (and only kanban!!) goodies with other members of the group. Obviously any swaps must be agreed on both sides and Kanban will not be taking any responsibility for any grievences which may occur, so please be sure you're happy with your swap before agreeing your deal!!
 Now, onto the cards.....

This card was made using the following items from the 'vintage tapestry' kit...   901020 - Latte ovals (background), 901003 - pink roses bouquet - (2 x toppers), 901016 - vintage tapestry sentiments ('thank you').

This card is the one i mentioned at the beginning of this post! the "whacky" one. hehe!! It was made using the following items from the 'Bloomingdale' kit... CRD1514 - scrolls + calligraphy (background), CRD1516 - vintage butterflies, aqua (background), CRD1509 - Scattered rosebuds (background), PCT1951 - carte postale, birds (Topper.)

Vintage Lavender!!!!!!!!!!!! x x x x x x

Hello All!!! Hope you are all well!!
This week i have yet again returned to my all time favourite Kanban kit! The gorgeous 'Lavender Rose 2'!! And then I have thrown in a little 'Vintage Tapestry' for good measure!  :)
 So here we go......
Here I used the 'Lavender Rose 2' Kit. I really enjoyed making this card as its a new style base card for me, which you may have already guessed, but i do so love a good mixture of base cards!!!  :)
From the kit, i have used.... 901407 - Lavender Blue Bouquet (background) and 901382 - Lilac Postcards (Toppers)

This was a quick mini make using Kanbans 'Vintage Tapestry' kit. It may be small, but as with any card made using Kanban Products, It still has style!!  :)
I have used the 'Vintage Tapestry' paper pad, plus 900999 - Vintage Rose Topper!!!!

As always, I hope you like my makes. I have tried this week to stay true to the kits with regards to style and colouring etc.
I wish you all a happy week and shall return with more makes for you next week.

Lots of Love,

A Little Lighter Look!!!!

Well hello there my lovelies!! Much apologies for the delay since my last blog! As some of you will already know, ive not been too well! However, Ive been a lot better since the weekend, and therefore have managed to get back to my duties as Design team member for the fabulousness that is KANBAN! I recently purchased their gorgeous "3 kit blockbuster" which is aptly named "all occasions". It does exactly what it says on the tin, covering every possible event. Its a real must buy for anyone that doesnt want to get caught out needing a card!!
Anywho... on to the cards, as thats why we're all here!! hehe!!

Although simple, i do like the light, airy feel to this card. It was simply made using Kanbans 901564 - 'No Place Like Home' toppers and their 'Birth and Celebration' paper pad. A quick, yet effective make.

This sunny little beauty was made using Kanbans 901577 - 'Well Wishes and Celebrations' paper pad for the background aswel as the flower, butterfly and the suitcase elements. Along with 901572 - Bon Voyage, Toppers.
I hope you like this weeks makes. I tried to keep things a little more simple than usual, therefore making the overall look a lot more light an fresh! I hope you are all enjoying this sunshine we're having at the moment!? Long may it last i say! :)
 Happy crafting all!!

Lots of Love

The language of macho flowers!!! xxxx

Well hello there all!!
Thank goodness this snow has all but disappeared!! Having said that, im in doors crafting the majority of the time at the moment!! Speaking of which, here are 2 of my makes for the gorgeousness that is KANBAN!!  :-)  The first card is made using "so macho" kit and the 2nd card is made using the new kit from kanban called "The language of flowers". Thus leading me to come up with the title of this weeks post!! The new kit is a real must buy.. full of beautiful water coloured flowers, descriptions of flowers and sentiments that say all of those beautiful things you would love to say to your loved ones but just cant find the words yourself!!!
Now, onto my favourite part.... The cards......!!!!!!!!!

This card is made using the so macho kit and is seriously fantastic for the men in your life!!
Here i have used..  901151 - Grunge Splatters (BG) and 901149 - Extreme sports (Toppers!) Together with some brightly coloured cardstock!! The embellishment on the lower left is actually a mysterious object that i found in the ashes of our home fire. I never did manage to identify it, but a few spritzes of cosmic shimmer mists, embossing powders and peices of thread later, I had come up with quite an interesting addition to this whacky looking card!!  :)

This simple but effective card was made using the new, previously mentioned, Language of flowers kit!! It really is a beautiful kit!! This card simply used 901105 - Water colour in bloom (Topper) Along with some paper from the bella italiano kit, kanban mirri card and last but by no means least Rainbow roses (also by kanban!!)

Well, I really hope you like this weeks additions to my blog, Im sure you will tell me if not!! hehe!! Again, a masive thank you for taking the time to have a look at my makes. Please feel free to leave a comment if you wish!!
Best wishes and Kanban Kisses to you all!!!!!!!  ;)

Lots of Love,
Toni - Marie xxxxxxx

Not the Norm!!!!! :) xxx

Watchya folks!!
How ya diddling??
What about this snow ay?? I cant believe it!! If only we could have had this at christmas!! HoHum!! Such is life!!
Now, for this weeks design team cards for the fabtastic kanban, I have made two cards that i would usually avoid making... "Male" And "Cute"!! Purely beacuse i struggle for ideas for them both!! However, although i wouldnt say these are my favourite makes, i dont think they've turned out too bad at all!!  xxx
This male card was made using the following Kanban products... 900315 - pebbles on the shore (BG), 900818 - Master Gardener (topper), 900829 - 100% Tags and finally silver mirri card!!!

This card was made from Kanbans PCT9229 - 'Mollie with bow' (toppers sheet), sugar swirls glitter card, pink micro gingham, and gold mirri!!!

As i said before, these are not my usual style of cards as i like to make 'pretty pretty' or 'distressed' looking cards, However, i really enjoyed making these two and hope you like them too!!
Make sure you all keep warm and take care on those slippery roads/pavements!!
Lots of love
